I stayed up until 3am last night finishing bone. When all was said and done I had read all 1332 pages in 3 evenings.

And without a doubt I have no problem saying that Bone is the best story I've ever read. I'm sad it's over, but I'm glad I experienced it. And I know it's the kind of story I'm going to want to read again and again. Just to pick up all the subtle plot hints that are only illustrated. I blew through a lot of the panels, because the dialog portion of the story was so compelling.

At first I didn't know how I felt about the ending, I was so caught up in the fantasy, that I wasn't thinking deeper than what was being thrown at me. After thinking about it and finding a few essays online about the story, I think I appreciate the ending more.

I actually found an essay online that over the course of like 10 pages details the romance story within Bone to other literature. Even making the claim that the story itself is one of the best Romantic tales of our time. I don't know if I've read enough Romantic tales to verify that claim, but surely it's the best I've read.

The other essay covered the mythology of the story and it's relation to real world mythology.

I find it all fascinating and you know a story has really hooked you in, when it's over and you just want to study it in an even deeper way.

Anyone who has ever read a comic needs to read Bone.

Just wow.

I don't know why it has taken me so long to finally read Bone. I'm about 400 pages in after only 2 days, and if it wasn't for the fact that I had to get up for work this morning, I probably would have read it all night long.

It is an EPIC adventure comedy.

It puts almost every comic I've ever read to shame, and this most definitely has displaced Y The Last Man as my favorite comic.

So The Cure was a great time. Although I was really tired and my seats weren't worth what I paid for them. I enjoyed myself though.
